Parenting with Purpose

One of the key elements of raising children involves the development of a child's faith. These "stages of faith development" are an essential part of parenting, since faith formation really begins in the home, in the context of family. 

It also continues after they leave home. For example, parents often ask how they can prepare children moving away to college?  A few thoughts:

• Encourage your son or daughter to find a Catholic faith community on or near campus.
• Visit the campus ministry center with your son or daughter on your next visit. 
• Provide the student's name and cell number to the campus ministry staff
