The Sibling Support Project is the first national program dedicated to the life-long and ever-changing concerns of millions of brothers and sisters of people with special health, developmental, and mental health concerns.
They began SibShops, which are now run across the country. Generally for siblings between the ages of 8-13, though sometimes for children as young as 6 or teenagers, there are SibShops workshops held through various organizations in Oregon (some are listed under the Upcoming Events on this website).
For older siblings, the Sibling Support Project runs a number of different online communities to become part of.
For a number of books written about and for siblings of people who have special needs, check out the Sibling Support Project's Amazon Store.
There is also an organization called the Sibling Leadership Network, which works with the Sibling Support Project.
